(87) Coconut Buns @ King's Bakery Cafe

I'm completely in love with the Coconut Buns @ King's Bakery Cafe, for only 50¢ you get a warm hot-dog bun shaped bun, baked to warm golden brown fluffly perfection, topped off with toasty sesame seeds, and filled with deliciously gritty shavings of coconut/sugar paste filling. That description sounds odd but it's pure heaven. It's like a slightly sweet pastry that has chunks/shavings/creamed coconut, it's soooooo gooooood. And, you get to take your little tray and tong the pastries you want, so that's real fun! It's located on 16th/Mission, not even a half block away from the BART, so if you are ever in need of a sweet treat fix in a hurry I suggest coming here.
