(76) Steak Frites @ L'Ardoise

Steak Frites @ L'Ardoise is the perfect well balanced meal. Ha! Steak, fries, salad, and baguette. Yes, absolutely. Every day, please. I was fortunate enough to have my fair share of steak frites lunches in Paris while I was nannying back in 2010 and this one was totally on par. The steak was cooked a point with a lovely sweet St. Emilion Wine sauce, served alongside with some greens dressed in a light vinaigrette, crispy salty french fries, and warm crusty baguette slathered in too much (or by my standards, not enough) butter. C'etait superbe! L'Ardoise is nestled in Duboce Triangle on the tree-lined portion of Noe Street, it's a great hidden gem, perfect for a date night oozing with European charm.
