Brenda's French Soul Food = spiced with cayenne, scallions & cheddar. Oh me, oh my, these beignets are sooooo hearty. Huge hunks of meaty chewy crawfish, melty oozy cheddar, diced springy scallions, and dusted inside & out with pungent spicy cayenne pepper. Prepare to get cayenne everywhere, it's totally worth it. Brenda's has all the soul food favorites - sweet and savory beignets, grits, spicy andouille sausage, hushpuppies, po'boys, gumbo, fried chicken, ohhhhhmmmyyyy!!! Just about all the fatty and delicious and wonderful things you can imagine for your heart and soul.
